TMC and IAT have agreed a total solution for the transport of animal fat from Spain to DAKA's biodiesel plant in Hedensted.
The solution is intermodal (train and truck) transport from the facility in Spain to DAKA in Hedensted. Afterwards, the tanks are cleaned at IAT's service center in Kolding.
"We'll be transporting 1000 tons in all for DAKA over the next few months," said Peder Bækby Pedersen, TMC's project manager, "Our extensive experience with intermodal transport and our own facilities in Denmark make it possible for us to handle such a large operation."
TMC and IAT are certified to transport category 1, 2 and 3 animal by-products.
