We also do the UK

Many think of chemical transports and hazardous goods, when thinking of IAT. But we are so much more than the familiar tank trucks.

For more than 32 years, Steen Due Frederiksen from IAT Road has managed transports between the continent and the UK. For this reason, internally Steen is known as a walking encyclopaedia of English postal codes. With this many years’ experience, he knows UK towns and cities by heart. 

”In the IAT road department, we organise everything from parcels to groupage, part loads and full loads to and from the UK with multiple weekly departures. We can transport virtually anything, including hazardous goods”, Steen explains.

The goods are sailed via the Esbjerg – Immingham crossing, and IAT uses own tractors or regular, local hauliers to collect and deliver door to door.

During the week, IAT has no less than four regular departures of part loads and full loads import / export UK. Groupage is sent twice weekly.
